Human Mobile Devices Launched HMD Skyline: A Revolutionary Smartphone for Photography Enthusiasts

Human Mobile Devices (HMD) has just announced the launch of the HMD Skyline, a groundbreaking smartphone that seamlessly combines reparability with advanced camera capabilities. The HMD Skyline boasts an impressive 108MP OIS, 50MP Tele, and 13MP Ultra-wide triple rear camera setup, making it a photographer’s dream. With features like the innovative Capture Fusion, 4x Optical Zoom, Selfie Gestures, and Portrait Mode, the HMD Skyline promises stunning photography experiences, including natural bokeh shots.

One of the most notable features of the HMD Skyline is its Gen2 Repairability, which simplifies at-home repairs with just one screw to pop open the back cover. This commitment to repairability aligns with the preferences of 45% of Gen Z consumers who prioritize easily repairable devices.

Ravi Kunwar, CEO & VP – India & APAC at HMD, expressed his excitement about the HMD Skyline, highlighting its combination of artistry and practicality. The smartphone’s 108MP hybrid OIS triple rear camera, along with advanced features like Capture Fusion and Night Mode 3.0, caters to photography enthusiasts. Additionally, the innovative Gen2 Repairability mechanism ensures that users can easily maintain their device, making it durable and long-lasting.

In terms of entertainment, the HMD Skyline features a vibrant pOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, HDR10 video playback, and stereo speakers, making it ideal for various activities, from watching videos to gaming. The device is powered by the Snapdragon® 7s Gen 2 chipset, delivering high performance and smooth multitasking. It is available in a 12/256GB variant and comes with a 4600 mAh battery, offering long-lasting usage. Furthermore, the phone comes with 2 years of OS upgrades and 3 years of security upgrades.

The HMD Skyline also offers customization through its Custom Button, allowing users to set up personal shortcuts for quick access to their favorite apps, navigation, or even an AI-powered assistant.

The innovative design of the HMD Skyline incorporates an internal screw-driven camshaft to facilitate quick disassembly. Users can simply turn one screw to pop open the back cover, revealing an elegant and straightforward mechanism. The device’s battery, with a capacity to last up to 48 hours per charge, is easily replaceable and maintains at least 80% of its original capacity after 800 full charging cycles. It also supports wireless charging with any magnetized Qi2 charger.

The HMD Skyline will be available for purchase starting from September 17th at midnight, with a price tag of ₹35999. It can be purchased from Amazon.in, HMD.com, and various retail stores, and comes in Twisted Black and Neon Pink colors. As a launch offer, customers will receive a complimentary 33W Type C fast charger.
