Samsung Electronics made a major technological advancement with its groundbreaking “AI for All” vision, showcased at CES 2025. This ambitious initiative aims to integrate artificial intelligence into daily life, making it accessible “Everyday, Everywhere.” The company unveiled a complete roadmap to demonstrate how AI will enhance user experiences across devices and environments, focusing on personalization, security, and interconnected smart living.
Jong-Hee (JH) Han, Vice Chairman and CEO of Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division, outlined the company’s Home AI strategy, a cornerstone of this vision. Central to this approach is the creation of a seamless ecosystem of connected devices that deliver tailored services. From smart appliances to mobile devices, Samsung’s Home AI adapts to individual routines, providing a hyper-personalized experience that simplifies daily tasks. The company also reinforced its commitment to user security and privacy by expanding its Samsung Knox Matrix. This advanced security platform extends to home appliances, TVs, and smartphones, safeguarding data with blockchain technology. A new Knox Matrix Dashboard grants users better control over privacy settings, ensuring transparency and trust within the smart home ecosystem.
A key highlight of Samsung’s presentation was the introduction of Vision AI, a suite of intelligent features designed to enhance screen functionality. Integrated into the latest Neo QLED, OLED, and The Frame models, Vision AI transforms these displays into smart companions. Among its standout features are “Click to Search,” which provides instant information about on-screen content, and “Live Translate,” which offers real-time subtitle translations to break language barriers for viewers. “Generative Wallpaper” also allows users to personalize their screens with dynamic, AI-generated art. These innovations position Samsung’s displays as central hubs for smarter living, seamlessly integrating with the SmartThings ecosystem to provide real-time household updates and enhanced security.
Samsung’s “AI for All” strategy extends beyond screens to include many devices. By embedding AI into home appliances, mobile devices, and wearables, the company aims to deliver an intelligent user experience. This level of integration adapts to diverse lifestyles, offering solutions that resonate with individual needs. For example, AI-powered refrigerators and washing machines can now provide energy-saving recommendations and predictive maintenance alerts, ensuring efficient and sustainable operation.
To further enhance its AI ecosystem, Samsung has collaborated with industry leaders like Microsoft. This partnership has integrated Microsoft Copilot into select Samsung Smart TVs and monitors, expanding the scope of personalized content recommendations. This collaboration exemplifies Samsung’s commitment to leveraging partnerships to deliver cutting-edge technology.
