The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has reportedly received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), suggesting an imminent launch in India. The Galaxy S25 Edge will initially be released only in select markets, including South Korea and China, on May 13.
The Galaxy S25 Edge was previously rumored to debut in April, with speculations around a wider rollout in India. Its BIS certification hints that India could still see the launch at a later stage. Samsung had also unveiled the smartphone during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, indicating potential plans for a global release later in the year.

This likely results in a lighter build, weighing only 162g, attributed to reductions in battery size and camera hardware.
The display on the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be a large 6.66-inch AMOLED panel, potentially matching the size of the S25 Plus. Despite its size, it will feature a smaller 3,786mAh battery, optimized for the slim design.
