The Realme GT 7 was launched in China last week and is now reportedly gearing up for its debut in the Indian market. The company has hinted at the Realme GT 7 India launch through its official social media handles while showcasing the phone’s impressive gaming capabilities. Notably, the Realme GT 7 is confirmed to deliver up to six hours of BGMI gameplay at 120 FPS, positioning it as a strong contender in the gaming smartphone segment.
Realme GT 7 India Launch Details
Realme has officially announced that the GT 7 will soon be available in India. Reports suggest that the phone has been co-tested with Krafton, the developer behind the popular battle royale title Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). Following in the footsteps of the Realme GT 7 Pro, which launched in India in November 2024, the new Realme GT 7 is expected to introduce several gaming-focused features tailored for Indian gamers.
A teaser image shared by the company indicates that the Realme GT 7 supports BGMI at 120 FPS for up to six continuous hours, offering a reliable and smooth gaming experience.
The Indian variant of the Realme GT 7 is anticipated to retain most of the specifications from the Chinese model. However, slight variations such as differences in battery capacity could occur, similar to the changes seen in the Realme GT 7 Pro between the Chinese and Indian versions.

The Chinese variant of the Realme GT 7 boasts impressive hardware, including:

Under the hood, the Realme GT 7 is powered by the 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, coupled with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage. It runs on Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0, ensuring a smooth and up-to-date user experience.
Camera Setup
In the camera department, the Realme GT 7 features a dual rear camera system:
- 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.8 aperture
- 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter with a 112-degree field of view
