Sony has stated that all subscribers of PlayStation Plus will be granted an additional 5 days of service after a worldwide PlayStation Network (PSN) outage that lasted close to 24 hours.

The disruption, which took place on Saturday, rendered many gamers unable to use online services. Players took to social media to report issues with connectivity, failed logins, and various error messages. Although Sony has not disclosed the specific reason for the outage, the company has assured that all network services are now completely restored.
Sony Apologizes and Offers Compensation
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), PlayStation stated:
“Network services have fully recovered from an operational issue. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank the community for their patience. All PlayStation Plus members will automatically receive an additional 5 days of service.”
