Nothing Announces Return of Its Community Edition Project for 2025

Nothing - community edition project

London-based tech brand Nothing is bringing back its highly successful Community Edition Project for a second round in 2025. Following the overwhelming response in 2024, where the Phone (2a) Plus glow-in-the-dark edition sold out in just 15 minutes and even won a Gold iF Design Award, Nothing is taking things up a notch this year.

Nothing Community Edition 2025: Bigger & Better

For 2025, Nothing is launching four creative challenges simultaneously, giving participants more time to brainstorm, collaborate, and bring fresh ideas to life. How to Participate in the 2025 Community Edition Challenge

  1. Hardware Design – Redesign the shape and form of the Phone (3a).
  2. Accessory Design – Create a unique collectible or accessory for the Community Edition.
  3. Software Design – Develop UI elements such as wallpapers, widgets, or icon packs to complement the hardware.
  4. Marketing Campaign – Propose an innovative launch strategy, including key visuals and promotional events.
