Mumbai Tech Week brings Asia’s Largest AI Event to Transform the Tech Landscape

The Government of Maharashtra has partnered with TEAM (Tech Entrepreneurs Association of Mumbai) to present the second edition of Mumbai Tech Week (MTW), slated to take place from February 24 to March 1, 2025. Following a remarkable inaugural year in 2024 that received recognition from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, MTW 2025 aims to further establish Mumbai as a pivotal hub for technology and artificial intelligence (AI).

The collaboration between the state government and TEAM highlights India’s ambition to lead globally in AI, with Mumbai at the forefront of this ongoing transformation. A spokesperson from TEAM expressed excitement about the event, stating, “MTW 2025 underscores Mumbai’s crucial role in India’s ambitious tech and innovation efforts. This year’s event will serve as a testament to the city’s vibrant ecosystem, where AI-driven solutions are reshaping industries and impacting the world.”

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis emphasized the government’s commitment to harnessing technology for economic growth, noting that Mumbai contributes to 4% of India’s GDP. “Mumbai Tech Week 2025 is an ideal platform for actionable insights and discussions surrounding AI, as we work with TEAM to enhance our city’s role as a leader in this domain,” he stated.

A Hub for Innovation and Dialogue

MTW 2025 will bring together leaders from various sectors, focusing on the intersection of technology, policy, and governance.
