Mind-blowing Tech Gadgets at CES 2025

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has always been a stage for groundbreaking technology, and CES 2025 was no exception. This year’s event was packed with innovations that ranged from futuristic displays to practical smart home solutions, all pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. From stretchable screens that literally bend reality to smart devices that blend convenience with creativity, CES 2025 gave us a glimpse of tomorrow.

Samsung Stretchable Micro LED Display

Foldable and rollable screens are now familiar concepts, but Samsung has taken it a step further with its Stretchable Micro LED technology. Demonstrated at CES 2025, this innovation left the audience stunned. During the showcase, a shark appeared to push against the screen, and instead of relying on 3D gimmicks, the display physically bulged out, making it feel as if the shark was breaking through the screen. While the current demonstration was limited to a 6-inch panel, the possibilities for this technology in gaming, interactive media, and other applications are tantalizing, even if it remains a conceptual marvel for now.

TCL 60 XE Nxtpaper 5G

TCL made waves with the 60 XE Nxtpaper 5G, a smartphone that combines performance with eye-care innovation. Its 6.8-inch FHD+ display leverages Nxtpaper 3.0 technology to block blue light and reduce eye strain without compromising on image quality. The matte-finish screen offers vivid colors and sharp clarity, enhanced by nano-matrix technology. Features like AI-driven Smart Eye Comfort Mode and Personalized Eye Comfort Mode make it a thoughtful device for long hours of use. The standout Nxtpaper Key activates Max Ink Mode, turning the display monochrome to further reduce distractions. Priced at an affordable $199, this device is set to hit the US market in May 2025.

Schlage Sense Pro Smart Deadbolt

Schlage Sense Pro™ Smart Deadbolt

Smart home security took a leap forward with Schlage’s Sense Pro Smart Deadbolt and the Arrive Smart WiFi Deadbolt. The Sense Pro utilizes Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology to automatically unlock as you approach, alongside keypad and NFC tap-to-unlock options. It’s built on Matter-over-Thread for seamless integration with other smart home devices. The Arrive, on the other hand, features integrated WiFi for remote management, supports up to 250 access codes, and provides lock history tracking via the Schlage Home app. With updates coming to the app in early 2025, these locks are setting new standards for home security and convenience.

LG Signature Smart Instaview Microwave

LG redefined kitchen appliances with the Signature Smart Instaview microwave. Featuring a 27-inch display and intelligent cooking sensors, this futuristic microwave is designed to simplify meal prep. What truly sets it apart is its built-in cameras that allow you to watch your food as it cooks. The top-down view of your simmering dishes even feels like hosting your own cooking show. Expected to launch in 2026, this concept appliance aims to blend fun with functionality—because who doesn’t want to see their chicken nuggets cook in style?

Displace TV

Television is no longer confined to the wall with the Displace TV. Available in 27-inch and 55-inch models, this ultra-portable TV comes with built-in batteries, eliminating the need for cables. Its unique suction-cup mounting system lets you attach it securely to any flat surface, guided by smart software for perfect placement. Whether you’re rearranging your living room or watching outdoors, the Displace TV promises ultimate flexibility, redefining the idea of an “anywhere TV.”

Halliday XR Smart Glasses

Bridging the gap between high-end AR headsets and basic smart glasses, the Halliday XR Smart Glasses bring augmented reality to the mainstream. Featuring a compact screen that displays essential information directly in your field of view, these glasses are perfect for on-the-go multitasking. The companion ring adds a new layer of control, allowing users to navigate without touching the glasses or using a smartphone. Positioned as an affordable yet functional AR wearable, the Halliday XR is an exciting step forward in vision-centric technology.

CES 2025 showcased these and many other innovations that promise to redefine our relationship with technology. Whether it’s reimagining screens, simplifying home security, or enhancing everyday devices, these products highlight a future that’s as inspiring as it is innovative.
