The vacuum cleaner and hair appliances company Dyson has announced a substantial restructuring plan, resulting in the layoff of around 1,000 employees in the UK. That is one-third of their workforce there. Their offices in the UK are in London, Wiltshire, and Bristol, with 3,500 people. We have grown quickly and, like all companies, we review our global structures from time to time to ensure we are prepared for the future. As such, we are proposing changes to our organisation, which may result in redundancies.
