CMF Phone 2 Pro to Include Charger in the Box for Indian Customers

CMF Phone 2 Pro retail box with cutout for included charger, confirming power adapter for Indian buyers.

CMF by Nothing is gearing up to launch its second smartphone, the CMF Phone 2 Pro, on 28th April 2025. Ahead of the official unveiling, the brand has confirmed a significant change—Indian customers will receive a charger inside the box, addressing a major complaint from last year’s CMF Phone 1 launch.

A Welcome Change Based on Customer Feedback

Last year, the CMF Phone 1 launched without a bundled charger, despite supporting 33W fast charging. This decision frustrated users who had to purchase a compatible charger separately. Responding to customer feedback, Akis Evangelidis, Co-founder of Nothing and President of Nothing India, confirmed the inclusion of a charger for the Indian market.

Charger May Be Limited to India

While Indian buyers will get a charger in the box, global variants of the CMF Phone 2 Pro are still expected to ship with only the phone and a USB cable. This move follows a growing trend where brands exclude chargers in some regions to reduce e-waste, but CMF’s decision to include one in India reflects responsiveness to local consumer preferences.

What Else to Expect?

The CMF Phone 2 Pro will be the second smartphone under Nothing’s budget-friendly sub-brand, following the CMF Phone 1 in July 2024. Alongside the new phone, CMF is also set to launch three audio products:

  • CMF Buds 2
  • CMF Buds 2a
  • CMF Buds 2 Plus

Full specifications, pricing, and availability details will be revealed at the launch event on 28th April 2025.
