Actively AI, a pioneer in leveraging cutting-edge AI reasoning for revenue teams, today announced that it has raised $17.5 million in Series A financing, led by Bain Capital Ventures. This comes on top of an earlier unannounced $5 million seed round led by First Round Capital, bringing the total funding in the company to $22.5 million. The round was also joined by leading angel investors such as Jason Boehmig (Ironclad CEO and co-founder), Ali Rowghani (twice-Tweeted COO, now Y Combinator’s managing partner), and Frederic Kerrest (vice chairman, co-founder at Okta).
Actively AI has since powered revenue teams for high-growth businesses like Ramp, Ironclad, Attentive, Dialpad, Verkada, and Justworks converting hundreds of millions of dollars in incremental revenue.
In the midst of increasing pressure on revenue teams to produce quality pipelines against high attrition and declining ROI from traditional outreach, Actively AI presents a compelling alternative. As much as research by LinkedIn points out that 82% of high-performing sellers use in-depth prospect research, reps only have 30% of their time left to sell because of the tedium involved.
Proactively reshapes the game by presenting an individual, privately trained AI thinking model that operates on a company’s highest-selling talent but is able to study and blend information at an unmatched volume. Rather than shallow, one-size-fits-all AI sales assistants that present cookie-cutter personalization, Actively’s solution continues to learn and adjust to the particular go-to-market (GTM) rhythm of every business.
“In two years, every winning revenue org will be powered by advanced AI that outperforms human-led decisions, unlocking significant gains in pipeline and revenue,” commented Actively AI’s co-founder and CEO, Mihir Garimella. “We describe it as ‘GTM Superintelligence‘ a logic-guided method which not only automates or aids, but directly makes the most optimal decisions possible to fuel growth. That’s what we’re creating.”

“Actively provides us with a foundational GTM AI layer across our revenue organization,” said Michael Manne, VP of Sales at Ramp. “Its impact on pipeline coverage and revenue generation makes it one of the highest-ROI platforms in our tech stack.”
At Ironclad, Actively has already driven reps to convert contacts into qualified pipeline 41% higher than non-recommended contacts, growing dramatically faster.
Actively was co-founded by Stanford AI researchers Mihir Garimella and Anshul Gupta. The founding team also brings research depth from institutions such as Harvard and Carnegie Mellon, combined with industry experience at large tech companies including Google, Waymo, Microsoft, and Scale AI.
Actively will use the new funding to further develop its proprietary reasoning engine, extend its impact to the entire GTM stack, and expand its team.
“Unlike other sales tools that promise AI capabilities but offer only incremental insights, Actively’s platform replicates how best-in-class SDRs and AEs thoroughly analyze an account, freeing users to spend more time engaging qualified prospects,” said Ajay Agarwal, partner at Bain Capital Ventures. “We’re excited to invest in Mihir, Anshul, and the team because they are delivering results that set them apart in the sales tech category.”
