The Chinese smartphone manufacturing company Xiaomi launched its first budget 5G smartphone in India under the sub-brand Redmi. The newly launched Redmi Note 10T 5G smartphone is the fifth model in the Redmi Note 10 lineup and the first one to feature the 5G option in the Note 10 series.
Highlights:
The smartphone runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11 OS, and it is loaded with bold features, including the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset, a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, a 48 MP triple rear camera setup and a UFS 2.2 storage for faster transfer speeds.

The triple rear camera setup of the Redmi Smartphone features a 48-MP primary camera, along with two 2-MP secondary and depth sensors with an f/2.4 macro lens and an 8-MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens. The budget 5G smartphone packs a bigger 5,000mAH battery that supports an 18W of fast charging.
The 6.5-inch centrally aligned hole-punch display of the smartphone offers Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone comes out of the box with a 3.5mm headphone jack and appears in an all-plastic body with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Availability:
The Redmi Note 10T 5G smartphone is available in three different colour options (Mint Green, Chromium White and Graphite Black) and two variants, the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at 13,999, and the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 15,999.
The smartphone will go live on sale at Amazon.in and Xiaomi’s official stores, both online and offline, on 26th July. The launch offer on Redmi Note 10T 5G allows buyers to get a Rs 1,000 instant discount on HDFC Bank credit cards and easy EMI transactions. The company’s also planning to launch its first laptop RedmiBook soon in India.
