Vivo Launched Y100 5G With Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Chipset and 50-MP Camera

Vivo launched the Vivo Y100 5G in Indonesia, the latest addition to Vivo’s Y100 series. What makes the Indonesian variant even more enticing is its superior specifications compared to its Chinese counterpart. The cutting-edge smartphone boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera, setting it apart from its series counterparts, the Y100, Y100i, and Y100i Power, in the Chinese market.

Powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, the Vivo Y100 5G ensures lightning-fast performance, complemented by a robust 5,000mAh battery with an impressive 80W fast charging capability. Elegant and sleek, the smartphone is available in Black Onyx and Purple Orchid colour options, adding a touch of sophistication to your tech ensemble.

As the anticipation grows, the details about the Vivo Y100 5G’s launch in India remain shrouded in mystery. Meanwhile, the Y100i Power, launched in China in December 2023, hinted at the innovative strides Vivo is making in the industry. Back in India, an earlier version of the Y100, released in February 2023, featured a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC and a 4,500mAh battery with 44W wired charging support, showcasing Vivo’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology to its users.

The Vivo Y100 5G features a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a remarkable 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Running on a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and 8GB RAM, the smartphone comes with up to 256GB inbuilt storage and ships with Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 out of the box.

Capture the world with the triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a flicker sensor. For stunning selfies, the front boasts an 8-megapixel camera. Powering all these features is a robust 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.

The Y100 5G offers seamless connectivity with dual SIM support, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and dual-band Wi-Fi. The device is equipped with a range of sensors, including an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, e-compass, and an in-display fingerprint sensor, ensuring a futuristic and secure user experience.
