Aiming at the premium smartphone market in India, Motorola launched the all-new Moto Razr 50 Ultra. The high-end foldable smartphone is priced at ₹99,999* and will be available in three colour options – Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Peach Fuzz. To attract buyers, the brand is offering an initial discount of ₹10,000 on Amazon.in, reducing the price to ₹89,999.
Display
The Razr 50 Ultra smartphone sports a 4-inch outer display, the biggest outer screen in Motorola foldables’ history. It is 17% larger than the previous-gen of Ultra-series smartphones. The main screen boasts a 6.9-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,640 pixels) LTPO pOLED main display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 300Hz, and a pixel density of 413ppi.
Design
The Moto Razr 50 Ultra features a Vegan leather coating on the rear, while the frame is made of aluminium. The size of the upcoming foldable is quite pocketable, while the hinge is 30% smaller compared to the previous-gen Ultra-series smartphones. The Lenovo-owned brand says, thanks to the smaller hinge, the phone will now offer better dust protection and durability.
Camera
The premium smartphone by Motorola is equipped with a dual-camera setup that consists of a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom. The inner display of the Razr 50 Ultra has a 32MP camera. The camera system also has various other features, like an action engine, auto smile, and gesture capture.
Performance and Battery
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with 12 GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The Razr 50 Ultra’s battery is 4,000mAh and supports 45W fast charging along with 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging. The smartphone arrives with a 68W charger and will be available for sale during the Amazon Prime Day 2024 sale on July 20-21 and in leading retail stores, including Reliance Digital.
