BenQ Launches GV50 Smart FHD Laser Portable Projector

BenQ has introduced its latest product, the GV50 Smart FHD Laser portable projector, designed to enhance the viewing experience with its flexible projection angles and advanced audio-visual capabilities. This projector aims to cater to users seeking a comfortable and immersive viewing experience on a 120-inch screen, suitable for use in various environments.

The GV50 addresses this need, allowing users to transform any space into a cozy cinema. The projector offers direct access to Google TV and built-in Netflix, making streaming your favourite content easy.

As the flagship model in BenQ’s portable line, the GV50 retains the 135-degree vertical projection flexibility characteristic of the company’s previous GV series projectors. It comes with substantial upgrades in brightness and system capabilities, featuring a Laser Light Source with a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours for improved detail. Intelligent screen adaptation technologies—such as auto-focus, auto 2D keystone correction, and obstacle avoidance—enhance the user experience, accommodating various room sizes and surfaces. Additionally, it provides 150 minutes of video playback or 280 minutes of Bluetooth music playback.

Rajeev Singh, Managing Director of BenQ India, noted, “The GV50 is thoughtfully crafted to complement modern lifestyles. It offers unmatched flexibility, enabling users to access high-quality content anytime, anywhere. GV50 is a gateway to immersive experiences, perfectly suited to the way people engage with content today.”

Key Features:

– 1080P Resolution and Enhanced Audio: The GV50 promises cinema-quality viewing with its 1080P resolution, Laser Light Source, and powerful 18W 2.1ch speakers. It features BenQ’s CinematicColor and CinematicSound technologies alongside Rec. 709 colour precision, HDR/HLG support, and a brightness of 500 ANSI lumens.

– All-in-One Entertainment: Preloaded with Google TV and licensed Netflix, the GV50 supports seamless streaming and offers a 22.4ms input lag, which is beneficial for casual gaming. It includes USB-C data transmission, DisplayPort output, and power delivery for mobile devices and Nintendo Switch.

– Versatile Projection Design: The projector is designed to function in compact spaces without sacrificing convenience. Features such as omnidirectional angle versatility, two-stage tilt projection, digital zoom, and digital H/V lens shift contribute to its user-friendly operation.
