Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp has rolled out a new update that allows users to create and share customized sticker packs. This latest feature makes it easier than ever for users to personalize their chats with stickers tailored to their style. It also enables sorting stickers into folders and sharing an entire sticker pack with other WhatsApp users.
While WhatsApp previously supported custom stickers, the process was not as seamless. The new release simplifies sticker creation and sharing, removing previous barriers. Users can now design custom sticker packs using private images or unique characters, enhancing their chat experience with more personalized content.
The feature is available on both Android and iOS, and notably, it doesn’t require any third-party apps. Unlike earlier versions where stickers had to be sent one by one, the new update allows users to send an entire sticker pack at once.
How to Create and Share Custom Sticker Packs on WhatsApp
- Open a WhatsApp chat.
- Navigate to the stickers menu via the emoji keyboard.
- Tap the pencil icon located on the right side of the screen.
- Choose the stickers you’d like to include in your pack.
- Tap the “Create Sticker Pack” option in the top-right corner.
- Enter a name for your sticker pack and tap Save.
Once saved, the newly created sticker pack will appear at the top of your sticker list. Tap the pack and then the three-dot icon to access additional options like Share, Edit, Rename, Send, or Remove. WhatsApp also lets users pin certain stickers to keep them easily accessible.

New WhatsApp Features for Enhanced Privacy and User Experience
In addition to custom stickers, WhatsApp has unveiled other powerful features. One of them is a real-time online status indicator, showing how many members are currently active in a group chat. Another is a new advanced privacy setting, giving users more control over their conversations.
With the privacy setting enabled, users can prevent others from saving chat history or exporting shared media to their gallery. It also blocks Meta AI from interacting within specific chats, offering a stronger layer of privacy for sensitive conversations.
