  • Path analysis: Path analysis involves looking into the configuration between a source and different devices. While linear relations are easier to analyze, more complex compositions that interconnect different groups of machinery may require a more robust variation of this network test.

For example, AI data center networks require high-speed Ethernet connections, but a smart home network also requires a strong internet connection. A network test can help pinpoint whether different variables increase or decrease efficiency.
