Google Launches Veo and Imagen 3 on Vertex AI for Unmatched Enterprise Creativity

Google Veo

Google has introduced its latest generative AI models, Veo and Imagen 3, now accessible to businesses through its Vertex AI platform. These cutting-edge tools aim to redefine enterprise applications by delivering unparalleled video and image generation capabilities.

Veo, developed by Google DeepMind, is a sophisticated image-to-video model designed to create high-definition videos with remarkable realism. From lifelike humans to dynamic animal sequences, Veo empowers users to generate stunning videos either by uploading an image and pairing it with a text prompt or using a text prompt alone. Currently, Veo is available in a private preview via Vertex AI, promising to revolutionise video production for businesses.

Warren Barkley, Senior Director of Product Management at Google Cloud, emphasised the transformative potential of generative AI, stating, “Among enterprise companies with generative AI in production, 86% report revenue growth, with an average 6% increase. This underscores the business value of innovations like Veo, our most advanced video generation model, and Imagen 3, our highest-quality image-generation model.”

Imagen 3, Google’s latest achievement in image generation, produces photorealistic visuals from simple text prompts. Beyond creation, it also enables advanced editing capabilities, allowing users to add, remove, or extend elements within an image. Starting next week, Imagen 3 will be available to all Vertex AI customers. Major brands like Cadbury, Oreo, and Milka are already leveraging these models for creative campaigns.

To ensure ethical use, all content generated by Veo and Imagen 3 features SynthID, an invisible watermark developed by Google DeepMind. This safeguard aims to prevent misinformation and misattribution. Google has also confirmed robust protections against the creation of harmful content and clarified that neither model is trained on customer data, ensuring privacy and trust. With Veo and Imagen 3, Google is setting a new standard for creativity and innovation in enterprise AI.
