Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company, xAI, has launched a powerful new feature for its Grok chatbot called Vision. This cutting-edge addition enables Grok to analyze real-world objects, text, and environments using a device’s camera in real-time. Grok Vision is now available for free on both Android and iOS, offering capabilities similar to existing features found in OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google Gemini.
With Grok Vision, users can scan and query real-time visuals ranging from objects and symbols to documents—by simply pointing their camera and asking questions. Whether it’s a business card, office gate, or wristwatch, Grok provides instant answers as the camera moves, delivering a seamless augmented reality AI experience.
The announcement was made by Grok on X (formerly Twitter), stating: “I am all ears (and eyes). Share your world with me.”
New Features: Real-Time Multilingual Voice and Audio Search
Alongside Grok Vision, xAI introduced two additional groundbreaking features:
- Multilingual Voice Support: Grok now understands and responds in multiple languages, including Hindi, Spanish, and Japanese, making it more accessible to a global audience.
- Voice Search in Real-Time: In Voice Mode, users can ask spoken questions, and Grok responds with up-to-date information, reading answers aloud for hands-free interaction.
These features are currently exclusive to SuperGrok subscribers, a premium plan priced at $30 per month. There is no confirmation yet on whether these functionalities will be extended to free users in the future.

Personalized Responses with Memory Capability
In related updates, Grok now includes a memory feature that enables it to remember previous conversations. This allows for context-aware and personalized responses, improving user experience by tailoring answers to individual preferences over time. According to xAI, this enhancement significantly boosts Grok’s ability to deliver more relevant and customized interactions.
