Realme just launched its latest affordable smartphone, the Realme 14x 5G, which will be available in India on December 18th. The device will go on sale on the Realme website and Flipkart at 12 p.m. IST on 18 December 2024.
As a value-conscious offering, the smartphone provides flagship-like features like IP69 dust and water resistance, as well as military-grade durability, at a lower cost.

The Realme 14x 5G is the first smartphone under 15,000 INR that has an IP69 dust and water resistance grade. It also has MIL-STD 810H certification, which means it can endure shocks and other severe situations. These durability properties make the device appealing to consumers who require maximum dependability in the surroundings.
Realme’s design features a flat frame and a narrow back panel inspired by tenacity’s ‘diamond-like’ quality. The rear panel shines brightly when exposed to a light source for beautification. Realme 14x 5G get a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 CPU, up to 8GB RAM, and 128GB ROM. It also supports boosting virtual RAM to 10 GB for improved multitasking. The design has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling during basic usage.
Battery life is another advantage of the 14x 5G. The smartphone features a 6,000mAh battery, which is the largest in this category. It supports up to 45W rapid charging, which allows consumers to charge less frequently. The smartphone OS runs Realme UI 5.0 on Android 14, which is a modern and optimized UI.
Realme 14x 5G has dual camera system includes a 50 MP main sensor, which produces clean and sharp pictures. Some specifics regarding the second camera are unclear, but the basic features of the 8MP front camera provide decent quality selfies and video calls.
