Nikon India evolves with brand new mirrorless Z6III

Nikon India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, launched the eagerly awaited Z6III at the Holiday Inn in Mumbai. This new addition strengthens Nikon’s commitment to its full-frame mirrorless camera lineup, aiming to revolutionize both videography and photography. Building on the features of the Z9 and Z8 models, the Z6III incorporates in-camera RAW and N-Log video capabilities, along with the high-performance EXPEED 7 processor, ensuring top-tier specifications.

The Z6III stands out as the world’s first partially-stacked CMOS sensor and has superior Auto Focus capabilities, promising exceptional performance. Mr. Sajjan Kumar, Managing Director of Nikon India Pvt. Ltd., expressed enthusiasm about the launch, highlighting that the Z6III is designed to redefine videography and photography for professionals and enthusiasts alike. He emphasized its compact size, innovative partially-stacked sensor, and industry-leading 5.7M resolution Electronic View Finder (EVF). Additionally, the camera supports high-quality video resolutions up to 6K/60p and Full HD 240p, with built-in N-Log and N-RAW support.

We are thrilled to introduce the Z6III, a high-performance full-frame mid-segment camera that
inherits the spirit of innovation from our esteemed Z8 and Z9 models. With its exceptional features
and unrivaled performance, the Z6III is ready to redefine the videography and photography realm for
professionals and enthusiasts. This compact sized professional camera features the world’s first-ever
partially stacked sensor 1, making it one of the best inventions in imaging technology. Additionally,
we have introduced the industry's first brightest Electronic View Finder (EVF) with a staggering
resolution of 5.7M. The camera also offers superior video resolutions of up to 6K/60p, Full HD 240p,
along with in-built N-Log and N-RAW support for high-quality video production. The new Nikon Z6III
will become an integral tool for the creator community with its autofocus precision and the ability to
freeze fleeting moments with blazing-fast 120fps Pre-Release Capture and an impressive 20fps
continuous shooting rate.

The event attendees had the opportunity to experience the Z6III hands-on, exploring its features through live demonstrations focusing on Wedding, Fashion, and Action genres. The camera’s EXPEED 7 processing engine enables precise and clear capture of fleeting moments, with excellent performance in low-light and backlit conditions. It can detect up to nine subject types, offering enhanced autofocus accuracy and impressive new functions that broaden creative possibilities. The Z6III’s 120fps Pre-Release Capture and 20fps continuous shooting rate make it a powerful tool for photographers and videographers pushing creative boundaries.

Availability

The Nikon Z6III will be available from June 25, 2024, at a price of INR 2,47,990/- (body only) across India at Nikon outlets. The camera comes with an introductory offer worth Rs. 27,000, which includes an Angelbird AV PRO CFexpress B SE 512 GB or SX 160 GB card, an additional battery, and a charger. Angelbird, known for its camera-specific media cards and storage solutions, is exclusively distributed by Srishti Digilife in India.
