The world’s first smartphone is designed using biopolymer material, an eco-friendly alternative to fossil raw materials. The Chinese company has successfully achieved this with Realme GT 2 Pro. The new smartphone launched today at 12:30 pm in India.
Body and Display
Realme GT 2 Pro comes with a 6.7inch E4 AMOLED display with a 3216X1440 display. It has a peak brightness of 1400 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus is used for protection at the top, and the display uses an LTPO panel.
Processor
The smartphone runs on Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0. Realme GT 2 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM. A 9 layer cooling system called the Stainless Steel Vapor Cooling Max tech is present in the phone.
Battery
Backed by a 5000 mAh battery offering 65W fast charging, the Realme GT 2 Pro can fully charge in approximately 40 minutes. With this battery backup, the phone can be used for over a day on a single charge.
Camera
Realme GT 2 Pro has a triple rear camera setup, with a 50 MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 2MP microscopic lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. For its front camera, the smartphone comes with a 32MP selfie camera. The device can record 8K video at 30fps or 4K video at up to 60fps on the primary camera.
Price and Availability
The smartphone will go on sale from 14th April onwards. Though the Realme GT 2 Pro is available in two variants in India, 8GB RAM + 128 GB storage is priced at Rs.49,999, and the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs.57,999. As a part of the introductory offer, the customers will be able to purchase the phone at Rs.44,999 and Rs.52,999, respectively. Paper White, Paper Green and Steel Black are the available colour options.
